Insurance
Eye Site Sacramento accepts most major insurance plans.
- VSP
- Medicare
- Healthnet
- Pacificare
- Blue Shield
- Hill Physicians
- Sutter plans
- Secure Horizons
We also accept other plans as well. Please call our office and speak with our staff to find out if you are covered. As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance plan. Patients are of course responsible for any deductibles and copays at the time of their visit. If you belong to an HMO and need a referral from your PCP, please call them prior to your visit.
Please note that medical insurances do not cover contact lens fitting. If you are interested in getting fit for contact lenses let our scheduling staff know prior to your visit so we can allow for the proper amount of time and explain any charges that will be due at the time of your visit.
Also, most insurance plans including Medicare do NOT provide for the services of being examined for a prescription for eye glasses or contacts. This is called a "Refraction" and there may be a separate charge for that which in most cases is not covered by your medical insurance.
