Dr. Huda Minhas is a therapeutic optometrist specializing in comprehensive eye health examinations, eyeglasses, contact lens fittings, dry eye treatments, diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, and co-management of cataracts. She received an honors degree at the University of Toronto, and pursued her doctorate from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, the only bilingual program in the nation.
During her post graduate rotations at various private and Ophthalmology practices, Dr Minhas further developed her skill set to manage ocular disease, with a focus on diabetes, age related macular degeneration, corneal disease, and glaucoma. She is also specialized in myopia control and offers a variety of treatment options at our clinic. She is passionate about education and patient care, and has written a number of articles for publications.
Her philosophy is that healthy eyes are important to one's overall health and wellness. When she's away from the office, Dr. Minhas enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, and trying different cuisine.
