Dr. Sina Rashidi is a board-eligible ophthalmologist committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered eye care. He earned his medical degree with honors from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Rashidi completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville, followed by his ophthalmology residency in the same institution's esteemed Department of Ophthalmology. There, he trained extensively in both clinical and surgical settings and was honored with the Fishman Award for Excellence in Pediatric Ophthalmology. He went on to pursue his passion for cornea and refractive surgery by completing a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, one of the nation's leading programs in the field.
With a strong academic foundation that includes dual bachelor's degrees in Molecular and Cell Biology and Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Rashidi brings a uniquely comprehensive and empathetic perspective to his patient care. This broad background has fueled his commitment to community service throughout every stage of his training.
Dr. Rashidi offers advanced care in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, including the latest surgical and laser therapies tailored to each patient's needs. He is trained in both traditional and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries. Additionally, his fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery allows him to expertly manage complex corneal diseases, perform corneal transplants, and provide state-of-the-art vision correction procedures such as LASIK and PRK. His wide-ranging expertise ensures that patients receive the highest level of care for both visual function and ocular surface health.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Rashidi is passionate about staying active and creatively engaged. He's an avid soccer and basketball player, and a loyal fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. A sneaker enthusiast, he enjoys collecting iconic and rare designs that reflect his appreciation for style and culture. In his free time, he also finds joy in cooking, experimenting with new recipes and flavors. A lover of travel and history, he is on a personal journey to visit all of the New Seven Wonders of the World—driven by a deep curiosity, love of exploration, and appreciation for global cultures.
